The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District solicits proposals from qualified certified public accounting firms to audit its financial statements for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2026, and December 31, 2027. The selected firm must perform the work offsite in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, standards in the U.S. General Accounting Office's Government Auditing Standards, and all applicable legal and professional standards. The buyer also requires the firm to provide audit adjustment notations and advise on procedural changes for financial record-keeping as incidental services. Only United States organizations may submit proposals, and the firm and assigned key professional staff must possess proper Minnesota registration. Bidders must submit all questions by August 27, 2026. Proposals must include an executive summary, a copy of the firm's most recent external quality control review, and information regarding any disciplinary actions over the past three years. The buyer seeks proposals for the budget and provides no further evaluation criteria.
