Independent Audit Services

The County of Northampton in Easton, PA requires independent audit services for a five-year contract period in accordance with Article VII, Section 708 of the county home rule charter. The requested scope includes offsite performance of the audit of the County's General Purpose Financial Statements and Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, as well as a Single Audit of the County's Federal and PA DHS Awards under Uniform Guidance. To be eligible, bidders must be a USA organization operating onshore. The buyer is seeking proposals for the budget and requires respondents to provide anticipated professional hours, fixed annual fees, and hourly rates by staff classification for potential additional work. Evaluators will rate technical proposals for acceptability first, and then determine the price proposal that is in the best interest of the county. Interested bidders must submit electronic proposals by 2:00 p.m. on September 23, 2026.
