Household Hazardous Waste Program Services

The government authority located in California requires a vendor to provide household hazardous waste program services for public collection events, which historically occur on the first Saturday of October from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The buyer expects the contractor to supply staff trained in 40-hour hazardous waste operations and emergency response and respirator fit tested. The requested scope includes testing and identifying unknown wastes, determining hazard classes, segregating waste for lab packs, lab packing non-bulkable hazardous wastes, and labeling all drums containing hazardous or recyclable wastes. Additionally, the contractor must complete waste and drum inventories, provide quality assurance and quality control coordination for disposal facility acceptance, and assist with onsite management and cleanliness. Only onshore US organizations are eligible, and all performance of the work must take place onsite. The buyer is looking for proposals regarding the budget.
