Compost Collection Services

The buyer in Fairfax, VA, requires a vendor to provide comprehensive compost collection services. Under this contract, the vendor must supply food waste collection carts, collect food waste from an approved location, and transport the material to a permitted processing facility that operates according to all applicable regulations. The vendor must maintain cart sanitation by either installing new compostable liners secured by bands after each pick-up along with monthly cart washouts, or by swapping the carts entirely after each pick-up. Additionally, the vendor must submit monthly reporting detailing the tonnage of food scraps collected. Eligibility is restricted exclusively to onshore USA organizations.
