Painting and Coating Services

Durham County Utilities Division requires a contractor to provide painting and coating services for concrete surfaces and exposed ductile or steel piping at designated project locations in Durham, NC. The scope encompasses pressure washing contaminants from surfaces, preparing concrete and pipe substrates through mechanical and manual rust removal methods, and applying suitable protective coating systems in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. Only onshore USA organizations are eligible to submit proposals for this onsite work. Proposers must email all technical inquiries and questions referencing RFP No. 27-010R1 to Rishanda Davis by October 8, 2026. Proposers must submit one original hard copy and three copies bound in a single volume, limited to 20 double-sided or 40 single-sided pages, to the Issuing Department in Durham, NC by 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time on October 20, 2026. Bidders must also upload a digital copy using a link provided after the proposal due date.
