Rural Hospital Training and Technical Assistance Center Services

The Ohio Department of Health requires a contractor to provide rural hospital training and technical assistance center services. The selected vendor must assess training needs, create and promote an annual training schedule, and implement training events complete with learning objectives, presentation materials, and evaluation instruments. Additionally, the scope includes providing individualized technical assistance to rural hospitals for emergent issues, leadership upskilling, financial solvency strategies, and partnership facilitation. Only vendors operating onshore within the United States are eligible, and work must occur onsite. Bidders can submit proposals digitally via email or online, and all questions must be submitted no later than October 13, 2026. Evaluation criteria will assign points based on a technical score, a firm fixed-price cost score, and an MBE score, with the highest total score recommended for the next phase. The contract term is for one year, and prices must remain firm for the first 48 months.
