Interior Construction Services

Metra requires a vendor to provide on-site interior construction services on an as-needed basis at 547 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL 60661. The scope of work includes general carpentry, office space demolition, building repair, painting, flooring installation and repair, interior/exterior window improvements, window blinds installation, marble restoration, and door improvements. The contractor must supply all necessary transportation, tools, apparatus, protection, permits, certifications, insurance, bonds, and shipping costs. Only USA organizations are eligible to bid, and projects carry a 15% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal. Interested bidders must submit electronic bids through Metra's Procurement portal prior to 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time on October 27, 2026. Questions must be submitted via the portal prior to 4:00 p.m. on October 13, 2026. Bidders may attend an optional pre-bid meeting and site visit on October 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Each bid must include a 5% bid bond. The contract term spans a period of four years.
