Auditing Services

The County of Ocean requests qualifications for auditing services for the Department of Senior Services and Office of the Fire Marshal. Scope items include reconciling sub-grantee expenditures to consolidated spreadsheets, testing cost allocations across various federal and state programs, and performing site visits and tests of expenditures for 54 Federal Area Plan Service Provider Contracts. The selected vendor must also review client data in SAMS and Mon Ami, and prepare a report detailing procedures, findings, testing, and recommendations for the Board of Commissioners and the Office of Senior Services. To be eligible, vendors must have a minimum of two years of experience providing auditing services, and only onshore USA organizations qualify. Applicants must submit proposals strictly electronically, as manual submissions cause rejection. Evaluation includes thoroughness and completeness of the submittal, which accounts for 10% of the total score. The contract term lasts for one year, with performance occurring offsite.
