Lighting Installation Service

The Charter Township of Garfield seeks qualified contractors to install modern, energy-efficient outdoor parking lot lighting on existing poles at Township-owned facilities, including the River East Recreation Area, Silver Lake Recreation Area, and Township Hall. Only US onshore organizations are eligible to submit proposals. Bidders can submit responses digitally via email or online, or provide physical proposals, with a submission deadline of 2:00pm on Thursday, October 8, 2026. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for October 1, 2026, to review RFP directions and address location questions. The Township will evaluate proposals based on total proposed cost, bidder and employee qualifications, service approach, references, and overall best interest, rather than selecting solely by the lowest bid. The contract period covers services completed in 2026, and bidders must hold their pricing open for 90 consecutive calendar days from the due date. Bidders must also account for required workers' compensation and general liability insurance, along with specified performance, labor, material, and maintenance bonds.
