External Audit Services

McLean County, Illinois, seeks a vendor to provide external audit services for fiscal years 2026 through 2028. The selected auditor must issue an independent auditor’s report on the basic financial statements, express an opinion on combining and individual fund statements, provide an in-relation-to opinion on supporting schedules, and perform required limited procedures on supplementary information. The work will be performed offsite, and read-only access to the County's Tyler Munis ERP system will be provided. Eligibility is restricted to onshore, USA-based organizations. Applicants must submit proposals showing a total all-inclusive maximum fee by fiscal year, including separate line-item pricing for optional services such as the Circuit Clerk audit, CYEFR, and AFR/PAFR assistance. The proposal submission deadline is October 6, 2026, at 3:00 PM CST.
