Vertical Transportation Preventive Maintenance, Testing and Repair Services

Dutchess Community College is soliciting bids for comprehensive vertical transportation preventive maintenance, testing, and repair services for its elevators, lifts, and equipment in Poughkeepsie, NY. The selected vendor must handle scheduled preventive maintenance, malfunction diagnoses, routine and emergency callbacks, passenger-entrapment responses, periodic testing coordination, repair work, and detailed service recordkeeping. Eligibility is limited to onshore US organizations with a current NYS elevator-contractor license and at least three years of documented experience providing full-service vertical transportation maintenance. Questions must be submitted via BidNet Direct by October 15, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. Eastern Time. Bids are due October 30, 2026, before 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time, and must be delivered in a sealed package containing one signed paper original and one identical electronic copy on a USB drive to the College's Poughkeepsie campus. Evaluation criteria are pass/fail based on required licenses, registrations, minimum experience, bidder responsibility, past performance, and submission of required forms; the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the Total Evaluated Bid Price. The contract term is three years.
