Council Chamber Control Room Redesign Services

The City of Tacoma’s TV Tacoma seeks a vendor to engineer and design a turnkey, broadcast-grade control room for the local council chamber to manage multi-camera coverage, audio reinforcement, presentations, and live streaming. The requested native system architecture must support zero-latency uncompressed digital video up to 1080p at 60fps or 4K UHD, alongside a hardware or hybrid production switcher, a physical joystick controller for remote PTZ cameras supporting at least 50 presets, a broadcast-quality character generator, and a Dante/AES67 native audio network. Only USA-based onshore organizations are eligible to perform this onsite work. Applicants must submit questions by October 19, 2026, and deliver complete submittal packages via email or in person to the City's Procurement and Payables Division by 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time on October 27, 2026. The submittal package requires one electronic copy consisting of a Signature Page, Price Proposal Form, Record of Prior Contracts, key personnel bios or resumes, and up to 10 double-sided pages covering company capabilities and three client references from the past five years. The City evaluates proposals using a 100-point scale based on firm qualifications and experience (30 points), project examples and references (30 points), key personnel qualifications (25 points), and final design cost, estimated time, and fees (15 points).
