Restroom Renovation Project Services

The City of Salem, Massachusetts, requires general construction and electrical services for the Forest River Park Restroom Renovation Project (IFB No. 27-22-PRCS). The requested scope includes furnishing and installing circuit breakers, branch circuits, junction and pull boxes, wiring devices, wall plates, lighting fixtures, lamps, contactors, time switches, occupancy sensors, and fractional horsepower motor manual starters with red pilot lights. Bidders must also provide necessary supports, sleeves, hangers, fuses, spare lamps, specific lighting controls, and power connections for equipment installed by other trades. General bidders must hold a Certificate of Eligibility for General Construction work from the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in accordance with state laws. Bidders must submit sealed bids in duplicate with their company name and address on the envelope, addressed to the City of Salem Purchasing Department. A pre-bid meeting and site visit will occur on October 21, 2026, at 10:00 am at the project site. Filed sub-bids are due by October 28, 2026, at 11:00 am, and general bids are due by November 10, 2026, at 11:00 am, with late bids being rejected.
