Police Uniforms Supplies

The Town of Hamden requires a qualified vendor to supply Hamden Police Department uniforms, including Paterson style #4420Z Taylor leather coats and Hope Uniform Company dress uniforms, for a one-year contract. The vendor must be a full-line authorized dealer for the restrictive brand specifications and must maintain an online web store portal for officers purchasing with clothing allowances. Performance occurs on-site in Hamden, Connecticut, and the vendor must sew provided police patches, badge tabs, and sergeant stripes onto the garments. Bidders must be onshore (USA only). All questions must be submitted to [email protected] by 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Applicants must submit one original, three copies, and one electronic copy on a USB flash drive in a sealed envelope to the Finance office purchasing lock box by 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 29, 2026. Bids must include a certified check or bid bond for five percent of the total bid. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and accept the proposal deemed in its best interest.
