Fiber Optic Maintenance, Repair and Modernizations Services

The City of Garland, Texas, requires a vendor to provide onsite fiber optic maintenance, repair, and modernization services for a four-year contract term. The requested scope includes supplying splicing kits, fiber optic cable caps, water sealants, terminators, splice trays, distribution housings, interconnect housings, jumpers, and accessories. Vendors must furnish loose, flooded single-mode optical fibers wrapped in a central strength member with single-jacket corrugated armor suitable for underground conduits, using OS2 or better single-mode cable for voice, data, and video communications between field cabinets, ground boxes, and buildings.
