Property Abatement Services

The County of El Dorado Chief Administrative Office, on behalf of the Planning and Building Department, requires as-needed property abatement services for residential and commercial properties in California. Requested services include boarding up and securing properties, as well as removing exterior junk, trash, rubbish, refuse, debris, abandoned vehicles, or other foreign matter. Eligible onshore US organizations must possess all required licenses for towing and hazardous waste handling, along with adequate general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation insurance. Respondents must submit their proposals online via PlanetBids or as a hard copy by November 13, 2026, no later than 3:00:00 PM Pacific time. Submit all inquiries by email to [email protected] no later than October 30, 2026. Proposals must include Attachments B through F and exclude fee information. An evaluation panel will score and rank responsive submittals out of 100 maximum possible points based on criteria including firm experience, staff qualifications, project management approach, and references.
