The selected contractor must load battery tubs using heavy-duty equipment, provide flatbed trucks or equivalent vehicles rated for heavy hazardous materials, segregate and isolate damaged batteries to prevent cross-contamination or thermal events, and issue recycling completion statements with chain of custody details and final disposition of materials.
