Police Access Control System Upgrade Services

The City of Hialeah, Florida is seeking a complete replacement of its existing police access control system to enhance security, functionality, and system reliability across multiple facilities. The current Keri systems access control must be replaced with a new Motorola Avigilon Alta cloud-based access control system. The project covers the furnishing, installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of a fully operational system at the Police Headquarters Building, which includes the Training Center, K9 Unit, and Police Parking, as well as four police stations designated as Sector 1, 3, 4, and 5. The scope of work requires the installation of access control components for approximately one hundred forty-four doors and twenty-five gates. The selected contractor must provide and install all required cabling, wiring, and network connectivity components necessary for system operation. Potential integration with existing closed-circuit television systems, dispatch systems, alarms, or building management systems may be required, subject to coordination with the city. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. While the physical installation occurs at the specified Hialeah locations, the agency notes that performance of the work will be offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost. The agency will host a pre-bid meeting on June 1, 2026, to discuss the project requirements. Bidders must submit all questions regarding the solicitation no later than June 19, 2026. The evaluation criteria will focus on the bidder's ability to deliver the specified Motorola Avigilon Alta system and meet all technical integration needs.
