LiDAR Wayside Intrusion Detection System

The California government authority is seeking a vendor to design, furnish, install, test, and commission a LiDAR-based wayside intrusion detection system. This system will monitor intruders entering the right of way to prevent the theft of copper cables. The agency requires the selected provider to deliver network connectivity block diagrams, layout drawings, installation details, conduit routing and schedules, hardware and equipment details, power budget calculations, and network switch configuration documentation. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located within the United States. The agency expects the performance of the work to take place offsite. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit or specific key dates in the initial solicitation. Evaluation of proposals will be based on the submitted designs, technical specifications, and documentation provided by the bidding organizations.
