Radiation Safety Technical Consultant Services

The Adams County government authority in Brighton, Colorado is seeking a radiation safety technical consultant to provide compliance assurance and technical services for permitted radioactive waste operations. The agency requires a consultant who is proficient in radiation safety and knowledgeable in low-level radioactive material handling and disposal practices. The selected partner will assess radiation-related operations to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, license standard operating procedures, and county-issued conditions. The scope of work includes reviewing waste acceptance paperwork relevant to observed waste acceptance at the facility and coordinating ongoing meetings with the county project manager. The consultant must also review all aspects of each annual technical evaluation to ensure concurrence with the stipulations, terms, and license requirements. All project work will be performed offsite over a contract period of three years. Only organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity.
