Occupational Therapy Assessment Services

The Maine government authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessment services. The agency requires evaluations that assess an individual's functional abilities across cognitive and sensory-motor skills, self-care, activities of daily living, physical ability for vocational tasks, play and leisure participation, and environmental accessibility and safety. These evaluations must occur in the least restrictive environment appropriate to the individual, ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities, and accommodate preferred modes of communication. The selected provider must deliver services in a manner that respects and accommodates cultural, linguistic, and individual differences. For each evaluation, the agency requires a Functional Assessment Report that summarizes findings, identifies functional strengths and areas of need, and provides tailored recommendations based on the individual's developmental profile, current living situation, and goals. The report must also suggest strategies, accommodations, environmental modifications, or other supports to enhance independence and safety. Eligibility is limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the vendor to perform all work offsite at the vendor's own office location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than May 26, 2026.
