Commissioning Agent Services

The Rhode Island Convention Center Authority in Providence, Rhode Island, is seeking a commissioning agent to review and optimize facility systems. The agency needs to ensure its building shell, HVAC, lighting, fire control, emergency power, and security control systems operate with maximum energy efficiency and adequacy. By securing these services, the agency aims to facilitate effective operations and maintenance through improved accessibility, test ports, and monitoring points. The scope of work requires the selected agent to review envelope design and assemblies for thermal and water integrity, moisture vapor control, and assembly life. The agent must evaluate system strategies, sequences of operation, and the overall impact of the commissioned systems layout on the facility. All project work will take place offsite. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a specific funding limit.
