Independent Labour Market Researcher Services

The Alberta government authority is seeking an independent labour market researcher to support a two-year project focused on trade-impacted small and medium-sized enterprises. The agency needs to solve the problem of understanding how trade and tariff-related volatility affects workforce stability, operational decision-making, workforce planning capacity, key-person dependency, and internal labour flexibility among these enterprises in northwest Alberta. To address this, the agency requires the researcher to design and conduct a structured regional research process that includes research, diagnostic, analysis, validation, and reporting components. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located in Canada. The agency requires the selected vendor to perform all work offsite at the vendor's own office premises. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than May 31, 2026.
