Bus Camera, Video Surveillance, Wi-Fi Maintenance and Repair Service

The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a vendor to provide maintenance and repair services for its on-bus video surveillance, camera systems, and on-bus wi-fi. These systems are critical to supporting the agency's commitment to safe, reliable, and high-quality transit service. Onboard video surveillance plays an essential role in enhancing passenger and operator safety, deterring criminal activity, providing documented evidence for incident review, and supporting continuous improvements in overall transit operations. The scope of work covers preventive maintenance, service calls, software and firmware updates, troubleshooting of components, and component removal and installation as needed. The selected vendor must provide the necessary labor and parts required to service the video surveillance, camera system, and wi-fi components to maintain all equipment in good working order. The vendor must also reprogram equipment necessary to restore it to normal operations, based on a provided template or a generic template, and must be able to provide 24-hour service and be on-site to make repairs to vehicles when requested due to service needs. The contract period will span five years. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations only. While performance of the work will be offsite, the vendor must still be able to perform on-site repairs on vehicles when requested. The agency is looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget. Bidders must submit their responses digitally via email or online. The agency will hold a pre-bid meeting on May 27, 2026, and bidders must submit all questions no later than June 10, 2026.
