Nights of Lights Services

The City of Saint Augustine, Florida is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive services for its annual Nights of Lights program. This holiday attraction has grown from a local tradition into a nationally recognized seasonal lighting display. The selected vendor must resolve the logistical challenge of installing, maintaining, and operating a massive, synchronized light display across approximately one hundred historic and modern buildings, parks, and medians. The scope of work requires the timely installation of nearly 500,000 individual lights and associated timing systems, which may include time clocks, portable timers, photo-sensors, and computer-managed systems. The agency requires all city-installed sites to illuminate simultaneously on the initial night of the program, known as Light-Up! Night. Additionally, the vendor must perform minor repairs on the electrical support infrastructure with city approval, secure permits for displays on non-city properties, and conduct nightly inspections and rapid repairs throughout the duration of the program. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for these services, and bidders may submit their responses digitally via email or online.
