The City of Sebring, Florida, requires professional engineering services to upgrade and rehabilitate its municipal wastewater infrastructure. The agency is seeking to address vulnerabilities in its system by hardening the influent components and improving the resiliency of the effluent treatment and discharge systems at the Road wastewater treatment facility. Additionally, the project aims to mitigate city-wide inflow and infiltration issues by rehabilitating the gravity collection system and upgrading the sludge dewatering and processing system. The scope of work encompasses comprehensive engineering design, permitting, bidding assistance, and construction administration. The selected engineer must also provide periodic construction observation services, project management, and related technical support throughout the project lifecycle. All performance of the work must occur onsite at the designated facilities in Sebring. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is accepting proposals digitally via email or through their online submission portal. While the agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for competitive proposals, all clarifying questions regarding the project must be submitted no later than June 11, 2026.
