The City of McDonough, Georgia is seeking professional consulting services to perform a comprehensive evaluation, restructuring, and modernization of Chapters 15 and 16 of the City’s Code of Ordinances, along with targeted updates to Chapter 17. The agency is trying to solve the problem of outdated regulatory code provisions by aligning, restructuring, and rewriting these specific chapters. The scope of work covers project initiation and kickoff, a comprehensive code assessment, code restructuring and reorganizations, and the drafting and rewrite of Chapters 15 and 16. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires bidders to provide detailed information regarding their firm’s experience in performing similar projects, including municipal code revisions, zoning updates, or related regulatory consulting services, supported by relevant project examples. Performance of the work may occur onsite or offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. The contract period will be for one year. A pre-proposal conference will take place on June 3, 2026, and bidders must submit all questions no later than June 10, 2026.
