Cable Replacement Services

The government authority located in Washington is seeking a vendor to provide cable replacement services to address infrastructure needs. The project covers the replacement of seventeen cables, which includes seven single cables in a single conduit and ten cables in seven conduits with multiple cables in a single conduit. The selected vendor must provide all necessary labor and equipment, while the district will provide all required materials. The scope of work involves four pad-mounted switchgear units, consisting of two four-way units, one five-way unit, and one three-way unit. The project impacts two main distribution feeders, specifically the Oceanside and Netarts feeders. The agency requires that cables be re-racked and secured within the vaults where the cables rise and terminate, with no cable racking permitted down in the vault. Vendor staff must also reuse and reinstall existing cable tags and fault indicators for all cable runs. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of the work will take place offsite. Bidders must submit proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposal submissions to determine the budget. The agency has scheduled a pre-bid field visit for June 2, 2026. Bidders must submit all questions regarding the opportunity no later than June 9, 2026.
