Architectural and Engineering Services

The Sacramento County airport authority is seeking to establish long-term, on-call relationships with highly qualified architectural and engineering consultants. The agency needs responsive, high-quality services to support its airport facilities and infrastructure across multiple disciplines, including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and costing services. Through this initiative, the agency aims to secure reliable, ongoing professional support for planning, design, and construction phases. The scope of work covers planning, programming, feasibility analysis, and the preparation of studies and technical reports. Commissioned consultants will provide design services at all phases from concept through construction documents, alongside cost estimating, value engineering, and regulatory agency coordination. Additionally, the selected firms will handle the preparation of plans, specifications, and bid documents, perform site investigations, and deliver construction administration and specialty consulting services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of all work to be conducted offsite. The resulting contract will span a performance period of three years, and the agency is currently seeking budget proposals from interested parties to determine project costs. The agency will host an optional virtual pre-bid conference on June 3, 2026, to discuss the opportunity. Bidders must submit all clarifying questions regarding the solicitation no later than June 9, 2026. The agency has not specified a final proposal submission deadline in the initial announcement.
