RFI for Advanced Technology Test and Development Program Service

The government authority located in Alabama is seeking advanced technology test and development program services. The agency needs to design and fabricate projectiles, targets, and test articles for light gas gun systems and launchers, including warhead fragments, sub-scale re-entry vehicles, threat missiles, hit-to-kill vehicles, and tactical armor penetrators. The selected partner must establish figure, roughness, and coating measurement standards for metrology and high-power coatings. The agency requires the creation of lab configurations to measure reflectivity, transmissivity, damage threshold, and phase shift. For atmospheric propagation, the project involves developing sensors and models to predict high-energy laser weapon system performance under varying meteorological conditions. Eligibility is restricted to onshore United States organizations only. The agency requires all work to be performed offsite.
