Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems and Accessories

The Texas government authority is seeking uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and accessories for intersections operating LED lenses with typical loads of 700 watts or less. The agency requires a system capable of operating a signalized intersection under a 700-watt load for four hours of full runtime at an ambient temperature of 25˚C when utility power is disabled. The system must automatically switch the intersection to flash mode via front-panel relay contact connection points when approximately 40% of the battery charge remains. The requested scope of work dictates that the system must operate the intersection in flash mode under a 350-watt load for an additional two hours. All components of the UPS system must be rated to operate under temperature extremes ranging from -34˚C to +74˚C. The agency requires the performance of all work to occur offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to establish the budget for this procurement.
