Janitorial Services

The City of Fernandina Beach, Florida is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for a government authority building. The agency requires regular cleaning to maintain a sanitary and orderly environment, which includes emptying trash, replacing liners, and disposing of waste and cardboard into city-provided dumpsters. The selected contractor must also sweep and spot wet mop tile floors, vacuum carpeted areas and floor mats, dust horizontal surfaces in public areas, and clean entrance door glass. The scope of work covers cleaning all horizontal and vertical surfaces within eighty inches of the floor, removing all dust, lint, litter, handprints, and soil from chairs, file cabinets, counters, windowsills, and the tops of doors. In addition, the contractor must clean sinks, faucets, and completely clean and disinfect wash basins, chrome, counters, dispensers, toilets, urinals, mirrors, glass, paper product dispensers, and trash dispensers. The agency is establishing a contract period of one year for these services. Bidders must perform all work onsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency requires interested bidders to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on May 27, 2026. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for budget proposals to evaluate pricing.
