Virtual Machines, Host Servers and Backup Systems

The agency is seeking a vendor to supply, install, and configure enterprise-grade host servers. The project requires the deployment and configuration of a virtualization platform, such as VMware, Hyper-V, or an equivalent system, to create and manage virtual machines based on organizational requirements. Additionally, the agency needs the implementation of centralized storage systems, including SAN, NAS, or hyperconverged storage, integrated with the existing network, security, and IT environment. The selected vendor must design and implement a backup and disaster recovery solution, migrate existing workloads to the new environment if applicable, and configure high availability and failover mechanisms. The scope of work also includes the complete documentation of the architecture, configuration, and operational procedures. Performance of all work will occur offsite at the vendor's own office location. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency has not established a set budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost. To obtain the main request for proposal document, bidders must pay an additional fee of ten dollars to the contracting authority.
