RFI for Provincial Dictation and Transcription Software

The agency is seeking information to assist in the development of a potential future competition for provincial dictation and transcription software. The agency wants to solve the problem of provider administrative burden related to reporting and follow-on tasks. The desired software must support medical terminology, clinical workflows, and specialty-specific medical vocabularies such as medical imaging, pathology, surgery, and oncology. The scope of work covers software functionality including voice-recognition quality, competing noise reduction, support of clinical documentation formats, and the ability to add addendums to existing documents. The agency is requesting information on multilingual translation, hands-free capabilities, real-time options, cross-platform access across mobile, web, and desktop, and built-in artificial intelligence capabilities. The requested information also covers integration, technical compatibility, dictation audio retention structures, implementation plans, training resources, and post go-live support. Only onshore Canadian organizations are eligible to participate in this market research. The performance of any associated work will be offsite. Respondents must submit their digital responses via email or online, and the agency is looking for proposals that include budget signals.
