Psychiatric Evaluation Services

The East Orange Board of Education in New Jersey requires psychiatric evaluation services to conduct examinations on a per-case basis. These evaluations are a critical component of the Child Study Team assessment process for pediatric patients. The agency needs to rule out psychiatric illnesses or severe behavior problems that could negatively impact a student's ability to learn. The selected provider must deliver diagnoses that will help the agency determine appropriate educational programming for the evaluated students. Eligible professionals for this work include Doctors of Medicine, Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, or Physician Assistants in Psychiatry. All performing clinicians must possess documented experience in evaluating and assessing pediatric patients. Bidders must be onshore United States organizations and must possess a valid New Jersey Business Registration Certificate. The agency expects the provider to perform all evaluation work offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is seeking cost proposals from interested bidders to establish the pricing structure.
