Mental Health Parity and Health Policy Compliance Service

The New Mexico government authority is seeking a vendor to provide mental health parity and health policy compliance services. The agency needs support to assist with timely and efficient oversight, compliance monitoring, data analysis, policy review, technical guidance, and enforcement support. This initiative aims to solve the challenge of ensuring insurer compliance with federal and state parity requirements for mental health and substance use disorder benefits. The scope of work covers reviewing carrier filings, analyzing regulatory and claims data, and providing clinical and behavioral health subject matter expertise. The selected partner must assist staff in designing, refining, and troubleshooting review processes and workflows to ensure alignment with statutory requirements and legislative intent. Additionally, the agency requires training and technical assistance for its staff, assistance with stakeholder outreach, and the development of guidance materials, templates, website content, and reports. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this initiative.
