Security Guard Services

The City of Santa Monica government authority is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive security guard services. The agency requires twenty-four-hour security coverage, seven days per week, to maintain a high-visibility presence and deter illegal behavior, trespassing, damage, or theft. Security personnel must monitor and patrol the site using a contractor-provided guard tour system, manage parking lots, and enforce site parking restrictions. The scope of work spans daily operations and event-specific support, including presence during pre-event, event, and post-event phases. Security guards must assist onsite departments such as Event Services, Custodial Services, and Guest Services, while also providing directions to visitors. Additional duties include helping the Event Coordinator maintain appropriate sound levels from DJs or musicians and ensuring the safety of all private event guests. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The contractor must perform all security services onsite at the Santa Monica location. The agency is accepting digital proposals submitted either via email or through their online portal, and bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 15, 2026.
