Security Guard Services

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a vendor to provide and maintain professional security guard services. The agency requires uniformed security personnel who can perform all necessary security functions, enforce restricted area access controls, and comply with all established security directives, rules, procedures, and control systems. The selected vendor must ensure that all personnel remain alert, do not work more than twelve continuous hours, have at least eight hours of turnaround time between shifts, and do not exceed sixty work hours in any seven-day period. The scope of work covers both standard security duties and assigned administrative tasks. Security personnel must perform clerical duties such as processing messages, answering telephones, directing visitors, and preparing reports. While the agency is located in Jacksonville, the performance of the work will be offsite. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for proposals to determine the cost.
