GPU Server for AI Research Project

The government authority in Ontario is seeking a vendor to provide a GPU server for an artificial intelligence research project. This project supports research on training and evaluating multilingual large language models for low-resource and underrepresented languages. The agency requires a hardware solution that enables researchers to perform complex computational tasks offsite. The scope of work requires all servers to feature independent admin gigabit or better interfaces for operating system login access via secure shell. Additionally, the agency requires all servers to include network interfaces, with a preference for shared interfaces, to facilitate remote systems management. The selected vendor will perform all work offsite and deliver the hardware to the authority. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore Canadian organizations. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally either via email or through the online portal. The agency is looking for budget proposals within the submissions, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 3, 2026.
