Nutrition and Transit Services

The Lower Savannah Council of Governments in Aiken, South Carolina is seeking a vendor to deliver comprehensive nutrition and transit services for qualified individuals. The agency requires a partner to manage both a group meal program in congregate settings and a home-delivered meal program at client residences. These meal services must encompass hot, frozen, and emergency meals, alongside evidence-based health promotions that provide education and activities supporting healthy lifestyles. The transit component of the project covers multiple transportation services to support independence and health. The selected vendor must provide group dining transportation to and from congregate meal sites, as well as social group transportation to beneficial events and activities. Additionally, the agency requires essential transportation for multiple riders from a single origin to a single drop-off point, and medical transportation to health resources and medical facilities. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The performance of all contracted work will take place offsite. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is looking for cost proposals from interested parties. All questions regarding this procurement must be submitted to the agency no later than June 1, 2026.
