Enterprise Application Delivery and Network Infrastructure Systems

The Erie County Medical Center Corporation, a government authority located in Buffalo, New York, is seeking professional services to support the migration and modernization of its enterprise application delivery and network infrastructure systems. The agency needs to transition its existing hardware platforms to new generation physical and virtual environments. This project aims to solve the challenges of legacy system limitations by upgrading centralized management systems and migrating application delivery services to more modern, secure platforms. The scope of work covers project kickoff, planning, and technical design sessions, followed by the deployment and configuration of physical application delivery and load balancing appliances in high-availability environments. The selected provider must configure network services, including Layer 2/Layer 3 connectivity, authentication, logging, and system security. Additionally, the project requires building, configuring, and migrating multiple logical instances or tenants from legacy systems to new platforms, as well as deploying virtualized application delivery instances with failover capabilities. The agency also requires system validation, testing, issue resolution, and the execution of planned service cutovers, which may occur during designated maintenance windows. Post-implementation support, ongoing project coordination, status reporting, and the delivery of documentation and operational knowledge transfer to university staff are also required. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. All work must be performed offsite, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this initiative.
