Community Engagement and Business Climate Survey Services

The City of Macomb, Michigan, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide community engagement and business climate survey services. The agency needs to assess current perceptions of the local business climate, identify helpful programs and resources, understand short- and long-term business challenges, and gather business demographic information. To achieve this, the selected consultant will hold an initial kick-off meeting with city staff, create survey instruments, establish methodologies, and recommend cost-effective meeting strategies. The scope of work requires the vendor to administer the survey to ensure a representative sample of businesses and segment the results geographically by corridor zones. The agency also requires the compilation, verification, and maintenance of a comprehensive Business Inventory and Contact Database for businesses located within the Downtown area. Additionally, the vendor must provide benchmarking questions for future measurement and deliver the final results with detailed analysis and clear visualizations, such as graphs, maps, and comparisons by business type and location. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located within the United States. The agency requires the selected vendor to perform all work offsite at the vendor's own office location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 16, 2026.
