Street Cleaning and Sweeping Service

The City of Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a vendor to provide street cleaning and sweeping services for selected public arterial and residential streets, expressways, and public property. The agency needs to solve the problem of accumulated dirt, debris, foreign matter, and unwanted vegetation on public roadways. The scope of work covers the cleaning, hauling, and disposal of materials, specifically targeting a five-foot strip adjacent to and parallel to curbs and medians. The selected vendor must remove all dirt, whether encrusted or caked, and all debris, including gutter grass growing in sediment above the curb surface on maintenance zone streets. Work also requires the removal of all vegetation growing within eighteen inches of the vertical face of the curb on arterial streets, including crack, seam, and joint grass. The entire radius of all maintenance zone streets intersecting with arterial streets must be swept as part of the maintenance zone street. The agency will publicize the residential sweeping schedule to allow residents to move their cars, meaning the vendor will not have to return to re-clean areas bypassed due to parked vehicles. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The selected vendor must perform all work onsite in Tulsa, Oklahoma, over a contract period of one year. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Interested bidders must attend a pre-bid meeting scheduled for June 9, 2026.
