Microscope Micro-sampling and Chemical Imagin Services

The Mississippi-based government authority is seeking microscope micro-sampling and chemical imaging services to support advanced pharmaceutical characterization, material analysis, microscale compositional assessment, and chemical imaging applications. The agency requires a system that supports advanced chemical imaging and compositional mapping applications, specifically featuring infrared chemical imaging or hyperspectral imaging capability. The requested system must deliver microscale spatial resolution suitable for pharmaceutical particles, formulations, and material heterogeneity analysis, alongside automated mapping over extended sample areas of approximately 10 mm by 10 mm or equivalent. The agency requires the services to include fully integrated software capable of advanced analytical operation and data interpretation. This software must provide instrument control and acquisition, spectral processing and analysis tools, chemical imaging analysis capability, and region-of-interest analysis tools. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency expects the selected contractor to perform all work offsite. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 10, 2026. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project.
