Cultural Resource Services

The Navajo Nation Division of Natural Resources in Fort Defiance, Arizona, requires cultural resource services for miscellaneous projects. The agency is seeking a qualified contractor to identify, document, and protect cultural resources to ensure regulatory compliance for these projects. This work will help the agency secure necessary Cultural Resource Compliance Forms and avoid damage to historical or cultural sites. The scope of work covers preliminary and final inventories of cultural resources, ethnographic studies, and comprehensive report preparation. The selected contractor must analyze and interpret field survey data, reroute proposed project paths as necessary to avoid cultural resources, and provide ongoing technical and administrative support. All performance of the work will take place offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not disclosed a pre-set funding limit. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 8, 2026.
