Utility Locating Services

The City of Rockville, Maryland is seeking a contractor to provide private utility locating services. The agency requires the selected provider to communicate with the one-call center and the city project manager, or a designated representative, to close out or update all locate requests on or before the mandated due date. The provider must respond to all tickets within the allotted timeframe and designate an after-hours contact person for immediate concerns. The selected contractor must take all necessary steps required by the city to gain access to the city's geographic information system. The agency requires the performance of all work to be conducted offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency is currently looking for proposals and has not disclosed a specific budget. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 4, 2026.
