Food and Retails Services Point of Sale Solution

The agency is seeking a modern food and retail services point of sale solution to support the future of onboard food and retail service. This solution must support customer ordering, payment, kitchen coordination, retail operations, reporting, integrations, and related operational needs across vessel, terminal, and other operating environments. The requested scope covers all software, hardware, implementation, configuration, installation, integration, training, maintenance, support, and related professional services required to deliver, operate, support, and scale the solution. The required system must integrate kiosk ordering and expose menu and ordering application programming interfaces that support modifiers, combos, and availability. The agency requires real-time financial and operational reporting, custom reporting capabilities, and the ability to update estimated wait times across all channels using real-time kitchen display system data. Additionally, the solution must allow device management through Microsoft Intune or BigFix, support role-based access control for cashiers, and restrict gift card issuance, reloads, and refunds by role and permission. Eligible bidders must be onshore Canadian organizations. Performance of the work will take place either onsite or offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must submit a Notice of Intent no later than June 10, 2026. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 15, 2026.
