IP Based Intercom System

The Webb County government authority in Laredo, Texas requires a turnkey, IP-based intercom system to enhance inmate and staff communication, door control integration, paging, and emergency notifications. The agency is trying to solve the problem of outdated communication infrastructure by implementing a modern, IP-capable system integrated with the facility's network, access control, closed-circuit television, and emergency systems. The new solution must comply with all applicable Texas state standards and best practices for correctional communications infrastructure. The scope of work covers the design, supply, installation, configuration, integration, testing, training, and support of the entire intercom system. Hardware requirements include IP intercom master stations, IP substations, door entry and door release interfaces, and paging amplifiers and speakers. Software and integration requirements encompass centralized management software, integration with existing or planned access control and CCTV recording systems, and network support for virtual local area networks, quality of service, and secure authentication.
