Bus Rapid Transit Activities Consulting Services

The government authority located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is seeking highly qualified and technical professional personnel to provide bus rapid transit activities consulting services. The agency needs both project management and technical support services for a large transit project and capital project implementation. The primary problem the agency is trying to solve is the successful construction, rehabilitation, or renovation of Bus Rapid Transit public transit projects. The requested scope of work covers planning and environmental analysis, transportation design and studies, and safety and security support. The selected partner must develop customer-experience-focused bus rapid transit systems, design specifications, engineering standards, and design-criteria packages. Additionally, the project requires design and engineering, construction engineering and inspection, construction management, and assistance with right-of-way acquisitions and relocations. The work specifically focuses on bus and BRT systems, passenger stations, essential facilities, intermodal transportation facilities, roadway design, and corridor-based systems.
