Pigging Services

A government authority located in Minnesota is seeking a vendor to provide pigging services to remove flow restrictions from low spots in its pipeline. The agency requires a comprehensive solution that includes all necessary tools, fittings, connections, hoses, vehicles, and a support equipment trailer. The selected contractor must also provide a project manager, site supervisor, and technicians to oversee and execute the operations. The scope of work covers preliminary planning, mobilization, and the cleaning process. The contractor must notify the operations and building services managers before starting any on-site operations and prepare a safety plan. Mobilization requires making ready all equipment, tools, and personnel at the contractor facility before transporting them to the project location. During the cleaning phase, the contractor must use an array of pigs to clean a pre-specified length of pipeline at a predetermined rate while monitoring discharge and intermediate concentrations. Eligibility is restricted to onshore, United States organizations. The performance of the work will take place offsite.
